Violent extremism and insecurity circumstances pose a huge obstacle to international organizations operating in unstable environs in Somalia. While many of these organizations have the capacity and means to visit vast areas in the country, there are still substantial constraints that prevent them to freely move and observe implementing partners’ activities on the ground.

To bridge this challenge, Barsan provides third-party monitoring, evaluation and research services in Somalia.
